Ampthill Great Park has also achieved the Green Heritage Site Accreditation, supported by Historic England, for the management of its historic features.
Keep Britain Tidy’s Green Flag Award Scheme Manager Paul Todd MBE said: “I would like to congratulate everyone involved at Ampthill Park and King’s Arms Garden in achieving a Green Flag Award.
Ampthill Park and King’s Arms Garden is a vital green space for the community in Ampthill and the surrounding areas, bringing people together and providing opportunities to lead healthy lifestyles. The Town Council, staff and dedicated volunteers do so much to ensure that it maintains the high standards of the Green Flag Award and everyone involved should feel extremely proud of their achievement.”
